1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of baleeorg.com (the “Website”), operated by Balee Organization, a public charitable trust registered with the Sub-Registrar (SR V-A), Hauz Khas, New Delhi on 6 April 2022 (“Balee”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website or making a payment on it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. Who we are
Balee Organization is a non-profit public charitable trust. We do not sell goods. Payments made on this Website are voluntary donations to support our charitable objectives, or membership fees for joining the trust as a member.
3. Use of the website
- Use the Website only for lawful purposes.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, interfere with its working, or upload harmful code.
- Information you submit through our forms must be true and complete.
4. Donations
- Donations are voluntary. You choose the amount; there is no minimum unless shown on the payment form.
- Donations are used for the charitable objectives of the trust. Where you select a cause, we direct your donation to that focus area. If that cause is fully funded or no longer practicable, the trust may use the donation for its other charitable objectives.
- A donation does not entitle the donor to any goods, services, rights or benefits from the trust.
- Refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
5. Membership
- Annual membership: ₹1,000 per year. Lifetime membership: ₹5,000 (one-time). Current fees are listed on our Pricing page.
- Membership applications are subject to approval by the governing body of the trust. If an application is not approved, the fee is refunded in full.
- The governing body may revise membership fees from time to time. Revised fees apply only to new or renewed memberships.
- Membership does not create any ownership, financial interest or right to profits in the trust, and does not make the member a trustee.
6. Payments
- All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited using cards, UPI, net banking or wallets. We do not store your card or banking details.
- A payment is complete only when it is successfully confirmed by Razorpay and your bank. If money is debited but the payment fails, it is normally reversed automatically by your bank within 5–7 working days.
- You are responsible for any charges levied by your bank for the transaction.
- We may decline or refund a payment that appears fraudulent or comes from a source we are not permitted to accept.
7. Receipts and tax exemption
A receipt is emailed for every successful payment. [Donations to Balee Organization are eligible for deduction under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961 — include this sentence only after the trust holds valid 80G registration, and state the registration number.] To claim any tax benefit, you must provide your correct name, address and PAN. The trust is not responsible for tax benefits lost because of incorrect or missing information.
8. Foreign contributions
We currently accept donations only from Indian citizens and from Indian bank accounts or Indian-issued cards and UPI. [The trust is not registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 — confirm with the trust.] Payments received in breach of this condition will be refunded.
9. Intellectual property
The content, logo and design of the Website belong to Balee Organization unless stated otherwise. Photographs may be used under licence from their owners. You may share our pages for non-commercial purposes with credit, but may not copy or reuse the content commercially without written permission.
10. Third-party links
The Website may link to other websites, including Razorpay’s payment pages. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11. Limitation of liability
We try to keep the information on the Website accurate and up to date, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Balee Organization is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the Website. Our total liability in connection with any payment shall not exceed the amount of that payment.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi.
13. Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version on this page. The terms in force at the time of your payment apply to that payment.
