About us

Why Balee exists

We came together out of concern for falling standards of health and education, unemployment, poverty and the erosion of values in our society.

Guided by the ideals of the Constitution of India — justice, equality and human rights — we work to change that. Not through charity alone, but by helping people understand their rights, reach the services meant for them, and build lives they can sustain on their own.

Our Mission

To educate and spread awareness among the citizens of India, especially the weaker sections of society.

Our Promise

All income is used solely for our aims. No trustee ever receives profit, interest or dividend.

How we work

From awareness to self-reliance

Every programme follows the same path — because lasting change begins when people know their rights and ends when they no longer need help.

01

Awareness

Seminars, camps, publications and digital campaigns that help people understand their rights, duties and the government schemes meant for them.

02

Access

Direct help where it is needed most — medical aid, meals, clothing, education support and shelter, delivered alongside government and partners.

03

Self-reliance

Skills, jobs and enterprise so people can support themselves — the goal every one of our programmes points towards.

Our roadmap
